Crystal Beach Pool
This pool is located on three acres facing the Ohio River on Vaughn Drive. The
pool season runs from late May through August. A daily admission is charged or a
season pass is available. The half-moon shaped pool slopes from ankle deep to
seven-foot swimming area with two diving boards. There are three small slides, one kiddie slide that goes into the 3 ft. and two slides into the 7 ft. There is also a large slide that is 28 ft. high, 63 ft. long with three 360 degree turns. The historic bathhouse was built
by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930's. A concession stand with
drinks and snack items is open during swim hours with plenty of seating
available. Customers can purchase items from inside or outside the pool grounds.
A shelter house, picnic area, barbecue grill, and restrooms are also available.
A lighted basketball court is conveniently located outside the pool grounds,
overlooking the scenic Ohio River for recreation use.
In 2005, we added a new liner, slide and filter system.
